Tony won’t mind admitting to being the oldest member of the Squad. [Oh, I do mind!]
He started DJing at around 14 years of age at his local youth club in the eighties, playing predominantly Soul, Funk & Hip-Hop. In the early 90’s, playing R&B, New Jack Swing & Hip-Hop, he went on to DJ at clubs across London, before moving to Cambridgeshire in the late 90’s.
Tony was a big fan of the R&B & Hip-Hop nights held at Club M in Newmarket in the early 2000’s and was lucky enough to connect with one of his favourite DJs at those events, MixDat’s Special Edd, who introduced him to another Cambridge DJing, MixDat and Club M legend, Big Dave along with a young up-and-coming Sean DJ.
Tony joined the Squad in playing some legendary MixDat nights across the East of the country, including Flipside, Reminisce, and Hot Sauce; until he moved to Cornwall in 2015
Now, in 2024, he’s back home with the ‘Squad and looking forward to more legendary nights, playing R&B, Hip-Hop, Dancehall & Afrobeats, as well as bringing a touch of the old school to the ‘Squad, with some UK Garage, Soul, Funk.
